OVERVIEW

This is a 1968 Chevrolet Corvette Coupe VIN 1943785425170 with just over
90,000 miles showing. It was sold to me as the previous owner was
moving. It is a manual / 4 speed. The only option is power brakes. The
motor is a dated 68 corvette 327, but is not the original motor. We have
completed a few minor repairs - so all you need to do is get a tag and
drive it home. It is a base-motor car (327) with 4 speed Muncie
transmission, No AC, No Power steering, Power brakes- manual windows,
aftermarket AM/FM cassette stereo with rear speakers. Car has no
documentation. We have inspected this car from top to bottom and it is
safe to drive and enjoy while you work out any minor flaws over time!

EXTERIOR

The paint is pretty nice up close and even better from a few feet away
and has a few chips, dull spots, and scratches. This is the correct
color and the car has been repainted some years ago. The body is
straight and it does not appear to have ever been wrecked. The chrome is
very good. The glass is nice with no cracks and the doors read Astro
Ventillation. The windshield frame is good. The tires are fairly new.
The car could probably use weather-stripping in the not too distant
future. The underside has some typical rust and fluid seepage no worse
or no better than any of the other cars we service. Overall, my opinion
is that the exterior rates an 8 out of 10.

INTERIOR

The carpet as well as the rest of the interior are very nice with only
minor wear. All the gauges work down to the clock which is absolutely
amazing. I believe one courtesy lamps is burned out. Overall - I did not
see any major flaws or wear.

MECHANICS

In it's current status, the car starts, idles, drives, steers, shifts,
and stops smoothly. The car needs a center exhaust bracket as it is
missing and the pipes rattle some. The frame is solid with no stress
cracks or excessive corrosion. The choke got stuck and may have fouled
the plugs - so they could stand to be replaced. The suspension is good
and does not have excess play. We worked on the brakes including front
pads, rotors, caliper lines, emergency brake work, etc. We rebuilt the
headlights and they go up and down with no problems. The wiper door goes
up and down with no problems.

SUMMARY

There will of course be an assortment of features and such that do not
work properly same as there would be with any 35+ year old car.
Understand that we fixed as much as we could on this car for the price
we are asking. We are certainly available to work on this vehicle, but
this is not a fully restored car and you should be prepared to work out
any "kinks" down the road. We are availavble to work on this vehicle
once it has been paid for as needed. I am not interested in any trades
and I will not do any more work to this car prior to the sale. Anyone is
welcome to inspect the vehicle by appointment in the Gaithersburg
Maryland area. I am available for questions from 1pm-9pm Mon-Sat
toll-free at (240) 876-0935.
